#IceCreamWeek is HERE!

Welcome to Ice Cream Week 2014!

You'll find my recipes over on my food blog, COOKISTRY, beginning with Coffee Ice Cream on Monday. If you like coffee, you'll love this ice cream.

Not so fond of coffee? No problem, there will be ice cream ALL DARNED WEEK on Cookistry.

After coffee ice cream on Cookistry, you'll find Chocolate with a Little Malt, Salted Butter Pecan Brittle, Chocolate with Buttercream Frosting, Maple Whisky v2, and Triple Peach Ice Cream. (I'll put in links in here as the posts go live!)

This year the event is hosted by Kim of Cravings of a Lunatic and Susan of The Girl in the Little Red Kitchen.

Cookbooks in the giveaway!
We have teamed up with 25 amazing bloggers to bring you ice cream treats all week long. I hope you have as much fun as we did. Break out those stretchy pants and celebrate Ice Cream Week with us.

Our sponsors for the event have provided us with some great prizes.

A huge thanks to Cake Boss, Anolon, Microplane, WÜSTHOF, Page Street Publishing and Quarry Spoon

Kim of Cravings of a Lunatic and Susan of The Girl in the Little Red Kitchen have tossed in a bonus prize of a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker because they think everyone should own one!

The contest will be live through the end of the month, and there will be new recipes from bloggers every day - Monday through Saturday - so if you're looking for ideas for ice cream recipes, this is your one-stop shop. Lots to look at every single say!

The Special Guest for the Week is Lindsay Clendaniel of the blog, Scoop Adventures. We're very excited to have her join us.

Lindsay is the author of the cookbook Scoop Adventures which is chock full of ice cream goodness.

I made her recipe for peanut butter and jelly ice cream (but I left out the jelly) and posted it on my blog. I made it four or five more times after that, which is pretty amazing. I don't do a whole lot of repeats of anything.

You'll find the recipe for Peanut Butter Ice Cream here.

Make sure you swing by for a scoop from each of Monday's Ice Cream Week Participants
... and come back every day to see the updated list with each day's participants!
